Dr Lilach Leibenson was born in Israel and graduated from the Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem and in 2003 completing her O&G training in 2010. In 2011 Dr Lilach Leibenson and her husband Max, an Orthopaedic Surgeon, moved to Australia with their three children and then settled in Tamworth in 2026.
Dr Lilach Leibenson obtained her Australian O&G Qualification in 2012, and is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynecology
(FRANZCOG). Lilach has an interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, prolapse repairs, and other Gynaecological surgeries.
Dr Lilach Leibenson also has an interest in Uro-Gynaecology.
Dr Lilach Leibenson is a leading force in implementation of bundle approach intervention for reduction of infection rates in major obstetric and Gynaecological surgeries in Tamworth, and she takes pride in a low surgical complications rate.
Dr Lilach Leibenson endeavors to understand each patient’s condition and concerns, and recommends treatment that suits the individual patient the best. Patients are seen through her friendly and accommodating private consulting rooms situated at 25 Bligh Street. If surgery is required, patients either can choose to proceed as a private or self-funded through Tamara
Hospital. Dr Lilach Leibenson has admitting rights at Tamara Private Hospital.
Both Dr Lilach Leibenson and her husband plan to contribute to the local community for many years to come.
